    SELLERS INSIGHT - When I first saw Purple Rain, I completely fell in love with a home that always stayed the same but with the garden changing. I first bought her in 2018 in Surrey in a small friendly marina then relocated jobs from London to Bristol. When asked why I wanted the job I said I could move my house to it. Which I did. After 3 months in Reading Marina waiting for the locks to open to the Kennet and Avon, I moved her venturing down the K&A Canal until finally reaching Bristol. When people come on board, they mainly comment how relaxing it is and they can’t believe it’s on water.

    It has a homely feel with a great sense of adventure. For me time slows down, and I can spend hours either fishing, playing the piano or watching the wildlife and the water. For several years I moor in the city for the winter and the country outside Bath for the summer. It’s the first time I have lived on the water, and it’s been the best 5 years.
